Effect of Organic Fertilizer and Hyponex fertilization on Growth and flowering of cypripedium macranthum Sw . Native to Korea

Abstract

|
|
Habitats of Cypripedium macranthum were distributed in the meadow between woods which subdued light reaches to the moist grasses in the south-yeast facing alphine area. Habitat soil had pH 5.0-5.2 with 10.3-14.1% of organic matter and 12-27 ppm of phosphorus. Hyponex fertilization was superior in plant height, numbers of flowers and leaf growth to ball fertilizer treatment and control. Leaf-burned tips decreased with fertilization. New shoot growth and flowering percentage were the best in fertilizing a combination of 20 g of ball fertilizer and hyponex 1,000 ㎎/L application 3 times a month.
